Jun 2015 - Oct 2020
Key responsibilities included: * Development of groundwater conceptual models; * The preparation of hydrogeological risk assessment reports with support of industry approved numerical modelling codes for contaminant transport; * Hydrogeological input to mining feasibility studies and ESIAs; * Undertaking groundwater modelling works to support predictions regarding construction dewatering requirements and mine water management (including both: operational and post closure). As a part of my role occasional field work was also required, typically on mining sites to include: supervision of borehole drilling and Casagrande piezometer/monitoring well installation, aquifer testing (including the use of packers), geotechnical logging and testing, core logging.
