  Design of a cryo positioning stage for a FIB-SEM* system:
  - Determining the requirements and boundary conditions in consultation with the client.
  - Creating concepts for the positioning stage and developed one of the concepts, which used a leaf spring frame, linear guiding rails and drive spindles into a more detailed design (within Siemens NX).
  - Several calculations made on the design in Mathcad, including a calculation of the eigenfrequency of the positioning stage.
