I worked with Barry on a daily basis during the lifespan of ThisIsArdee.ie. Both myself and Barry shared the same ambition to create a website to help grow our home town of Ardee. From the initial concept and planning stage, to the day to day running of the site, Barry was the most professional and enthusiastic person you could hope to be working with. While I focused on the design aspect of the project, Barry almost singlehandedly was in control of the editorial side of things. Never did I have to worry about quality or quantity of the work bring produced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barry for any role. A pleasure to work with and an equally good person to deal with.

Barry was an enthusiastic member of the Sky News sports team during his three-week placement with us. He brought a good attitude and keenness to learn, and left with enhanced writing and editing skills. He accompanied us on a day with our live team at Wimbledon, was very useful, and gained valuable insights into how an outside broadcast works.
