The world is changing and the impact of Social Media can be measured in all parts of our days. IBM is one of the leading companies when it comes to introducing and adopting Social Business within the business world. I did several projects on Social Business and interviewed people at large campanies, such as ABN-AMRO and KPN, on what they believe Social Business means for their company. BeachClub Vroeger is one of the biggest beach clubs in Europe situated at Bloemendaal aan Zee. Next to the nice terras and beautiful restaurant, it organises big beach party's in the clubarea. My role was to serve customers in the restaurant and terras. Next to this I helped in the club with preparing the party's, which take place every weekend, by setting up the stage and preparing the bars. The focus was to improve the internal communication within the Marketing department and the other departments of IBM Benelux. This was done through the better use of internal tools that were available in the organisation. The outcome of the project resulted in a better communication system that was adopted throughout the departments.
