  I founded The Zimmer Law Firm in June, 1993 after deciding to shift my practice to estate planning. I joined the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and began an educational process that transformed my law practice and my personal life. The Academy is a limited membership organization of lawyers across the country who focus their practice in estate planning. The Academy's main focus is education and training. The Academy provides practice management support and tools that are exclusive to Academy members.I remain an active Academy member. I served on the Academy's first Board of Governors, and later on its first Educational Advisor Board. In 2008, I was among the first group of Academy members awarded the Academy Fellows designation. This award recognizes a committment to education and training in estate planning, and a substantial depth and breadth of experience in estate planning. When I founded The Zimmer Law Firm, I realized I had an opportunity to make estate planning a transformational experience for clients. Our estate planning servinces include all legal documents that clients require for basic wealth transfer after death and management of legal affairs during incapacitation. We combine that extensive list of legal documents with a comprehensive set of support services designed so that clients have full access to firm resources to answer questions and receive the latest estate planning information without cost. We have a unique interactive educational program and trust review and update program for our clients.
