- Bespoke Training is an QHSE consultancy and training centre. It operates nationwide for a variety of different companies - The role involved traveling to and from various businesses and industrial premises to inspect and manage processes and procedures. In the majority of the companies I visited I act as the competent person or the QHSE manager. My role involved carrying out accident investigations and complaints. I work edtirelessly to build strong working relationships with premises / site owners and managers to allow health and safety improvements to take place. - Attaining accreditation for company’s e.g. ISO, NEBOSH, City and Guilds, safe contractor. - I dealt with a variety of industry sectors – manufacturing, retail, transport, construction, food production, transport, printing, cleaning, schools, etc. This has allowed me to gain knowledge across a large range of industries. - In order to achieve the highest results, I worked closely with all levels of staff from directors to employees. This could involve negotiating with managers and operators to try to eliminate conflict between production and safety considerations. - Ensure organisations meet their regulatory, national and international standards. - I liaised with enforcement authorities on the client’s behalf to find the most practical solution and to prevent actions being taken against them. - Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications. - Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met. - Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff; - Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures. - Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. - Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.. - Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
