INFORM THE CLIENTS OF ANY OUTSTANDING BALANCES DUE TO BE PAID TO DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS. FOR NEW AND RENEWALS OF INSURANCE POLICIES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES. THE FOLLOWING HAD TO BE COMPLIED WITH: ASSESING THE RISK BY SENDING THE CLIENT FOR A MEDICAL CHECK UP. ASSESSING THE INDIVIDUAL’S INCOME AND ISUREING THAT THE PREMIUM MAY NOT BE MORE THAN 30% OF THE INDIVIDUALS INCOME. THREE MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS ARE NEEDED FOR PROOF OF SUFFICIENT CASH FLOW TO ENSURE THAT THE CLIENT WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE PREMIUM. AFTER ALL DOCUMENTATION HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND ARE IN ORDER, THEY ARE SUBMITTED TO THE DIFFERENT INSURANCE COMPANIES TO SEE WHICH COMPANIE WILL BE GIVING THE BEST BENEFITS AT THE LOWEST PREMIUM. FOR BUSINESSES THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET: FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ARE REQUESTED TO DETERMINE THE LIQUIDITY OF THE FINANCIAL POSITION OF THE COMPANY. IN ORDER TO COVER THIR DEBTS IN CASE OF DIRECTOR OR A MEMBER SHOULD BECOMEDECEASED OR THE COMPANY SHOULD BECOME INSOLVENT, THEN ALL DEBTS OF THE COMPANY WOULD BE COVERED. THROUGH APPOINTMENTS CLIENTS WERE VISITED ON A REGULAR BASIS TO UPDATE THEIR RETIREMENT ANNUITIES, MEDICAL AIDS, ENDOWMENTS AND LIFE COVER. CLIENTS WERE ALSO DEALT WITH TELEPHONICALLY. IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO RECEIVE AND COMPLETE VAT AND INCOME TAX RETURNS AND TO SUBMIT THEM IN TIME TO SARS (SOUTH AFRICAN REVENUE SERVICES) ALSO HAD TO CONDUCT AND AUDIT TO ENSURE THAT ALL RELEVANT TAX MONEY WAS CORRECT.
