Projects: Epsilon – Replacement of the VRQA main system into Microsoft CRM State Register – Replacement of the State Register into Microsoft CRM The role was to manage/co-ordinate the testing from the businesses perspective, help the VRQA with their business analysis and to track and manage all defects/issues affecting the VRQA. Both were Agile developments with the State Register starting 3 months into the Epsilon project Test Management • Creation of the Test Strategy, including setting up the test methodology, working with projects to deliver test plans, negotiating test environments, managing the test defect process, working with External developers, business owners and business testers in collaborative and agile team developments, including delivery of test reporting - daily progress, test execution report, defect progress report and test summary report, identifying and documenting business risks and issues. • Co-ordination of the testing process, including training staff to carryout UAT, business/user acceptance testing, data migration, retrofit and regression testing, Test management tool (ALM), issue tracking system (Vendors tool - JIRA), • Data Migration, co-ordination of the parallel testing of existing/ new systems and conversions from old to new systems. Defect Incident Management Creation, Maintenance and management of a Known Problem Register sourcing, defects not fixed in projects/releases, issues from Testing/Help Desk Incidents and Discussions with Business trail Sites, working with developers and the business to resolve the issues. Business Analysis Review of Requirements Traceability Matrix from the business perspective, analysis of business functions. Working with the vendor s business analysis team to ensure they had an understanding of the requirements.
