Plan, coordinate and deliver technical training related to water utility licensing through the TCEQ. Coordinate and monitor the IISD partnership for water licensing, enabling participating Nimitz High School students to complete two TCEQ core courses, Basic Water and Wastewater Collections allowing students to challenge the applicable licenses upon Graduation. Developing and maintaining a senior year practicum with an internship of 8-10 hours per week in which students are exposed to the full scope of water and wastewater operations for the City of Irving. Plan, coordinate,, and participate in the city's water conservation program including public presentations, program development and leak detection. Provide training, functional/technical oversight and support to leak detection function/staff.
