Worked with professor Rob Whitehead on research pertaining to Eero Saarinen and his construction methods with concrete, particularly Kresge auditorium through Dulles international airport. After working extensively with Kresge and Dulles the work, thought, and progress made between Saarinen and the engineering firm Ammann and Whitney was clear. When constructing Kresge Saarinen said the goal was to enclose space with the least possible cost. With Dulles his partnership with Ammann and Whitney proved fruitful in their quest for aesthetic and efficiency. Gathered research, collaborated on possible projects, re-created 3D models of Saarinen's work and graphically displayed information. Show less
