  I worked as PTA on 'Mysteries of the Deep', where I was one of two people perfoming edit assistant responsibilities. This included using Avid to ingest vast swathes of archive content and rushes, liaising with the production team, working with cut sequences, and performing any ad-hoc technical demands to facilitate or streamline the offline and post-production process. I would also play a key role in creating and supplying deliverables, and assist in logging and documentation on the production side as and when required. This was a thoroughly enjoyable role that saw great leaps in my skills and fostered much greater confidence in my abilities as an edit assistant.
