      After six years in the Press Relations area, I was promoted to the position of communication manager. In this role, I led work fronts such as Digital Strategy, Organizational Communication, Internal Communication and Publications. Among other challenges, I managed a team of five people and managed the area´s budget. We faced historical challenges, such as the approval of Novo Fundeb - the main public policy for the Educational system’s funding -, with campaigns that impacted nearly 8.5 million people.Responsibilities:- Strategic communication planning aligned with organizational objectives, including the organization's channels and audiences.- Tactical planning of communication actions.- Team management and guidance (focusing on results and individual development).- Press relations management and strategic public relations recommendations.Main Activities:- Briefing, editing and approval of communication material (posts and campaigns for social media, newsletters, press releases).- Reccomendation, Analysis and writing of position papers.- Supervision and editing of quarterly and annual activity reports, and general organizational publications.- Relationship with partners and supportes.- Management of agencies, suppliers and media partners.- Management of the spokesperson policy (media training for main executives and new spokespersons) and also recommendations on acting on social media.Some outcomes in numbers:- Press: 7,200 mentions (7x the 2012 exposure).- New website: 1.8 million users (57% higher than 2019); rejection rate dropped down from 90% to 0.5%; and accessibility score raised from 4 to 8 (out of 10).- Novo Fundeb Campaign: 800+ pieces and posts created; 8.5 million people reached; 2,300 mentions in the press.- Social Media: 2.4 x the engagement of 2019, and a reach of 22 million people in the year.- Organizational Communication: Creation of the biweekly newsletter, with growth from approximately 5,000 to around 20,000 leads.
