For over 30 years we have provided support to individuals, their families and wider communities across London and an integrated service in Cheshire West and Chester. About the Role • WDP Recovery Hub aims to support individuals who are detoxing, recently detoxed and are abstinent from drugs and alcohol and are looking to get their lives back on track. • Supporting to facilitate comprehensive psycho-social interventions program including structured recovery groups, 1-2-1 key working, peer support, alternative therapies, and counselling. • Working with service users to devise their recovery and risk management plans. • Co-facilitate structured linkage to ETE, a peer mentoring program and a volunteer training program. • Support the staff with service user forum initiatives. • Making recovery visible not just to those recovering but to the wider communities.• As part of the role is to support families understand addiction in order to break the stigma around it. • Lateral Flow Lead WDP-Redbridge

  West minister Drug Project Redbridge was commissioned to offer Lateral Flow Testing as part of the Government response to COVID-19. Lateral Flow Testing is a test that can detect the COVID-19 virus in asymptomatic people.• Recording of data on the LFT spreadsheet and writing weekly LFT update reports to the commissioners of how clinics are working.• Monitor vaccination status, consent to vaccinations, and make referrals for service users in different centres offering vaccines.• Create vaccination data spreadsheets for commissioners. • Allocate staff members to attend weekly LFT clinics. • We discuss self-isolation with test subjects and signpost clients to test and trace grant application. • Discuss with manager how to manager clinics depending on the size of the project. And produce risk assessments before planning clinics. • Making sure staff complete online and in-person training assessment every 3-months. Show less

  WDP fully endorses the drive to eliminate Hepatitis C by NHS England and the World Health Organisation. WDP therefore sought funding from Gilead to enhance our organisations processes and pathways; equipping staff with the necessary training and resources to eliminate Hepatitis C by 2023About the Role. • Acting as Hep C Project Lead on the implementation of a 12-month project designed to enhance Hepatitis interventions within the service including all areas in London and Cheshire, 6 different services in total in England.• Working with performance management, and data leads across services to support staff to familiar with the Case Management system through accurate recording of BBV and Hep C pathways. • Arranging training for staff and coordinating with peer mentors from the Hepatitis C Trust to improve uptake of treatment. • Reporting to Lead Nurses and coordinating the overall service delivery with Gilead for planning and implementing the requisite interventions for Hepatitis C positive clients including local Hepatology Departments for treatment.• Ensuring staff are aware of Hep C pathways such as BBV screening, results sharing with clients and making referrals for treatment where necessary.• Working in partnership with staff from across the organisation and key stakeholders.• Arranging for promotional materials and for rewards to be provided to services.• Undertaking any other task required which supports the development of the project.• Oversee and coordinate WDP's DBST/Hep C treatment incentivization schemes across services.
