Bio
Laurence Blairon
Barbara and I first met when she worked for the Court's Typing Pool. She had this amazing ability to help you with the same calmness and professionalism whether your text was a one-page draft press release or a 500-pages report whose deadline had expired yesterday. Soon after I was appointed Head of the Information Department, our administrative assistant moved to another position, and I could think of nobody else but Barbara to take up the job. And how right I was! Over the years Barbara became an invaluable asset for the Department. She was 100% dedicated and focused, always true to her word, delivering quality work on time and thinking pro-actively about problems we encountered. I enjoyed her positive attitude, sound judgment and ability to find creative solutions. Barbara was moreover fun to work with and a great team player. She was courteous to visitors and had great language skills. I could not have asked for more.

In the years that I have worked with Barbara, her professionalism, diligence, sharp mind and team loyalty have never ceased to impress me. Don't bother asking her to do something; she's already taken care of it. Barbara is one of the people I have most enjoyed working with.
