Within this role I was collaborating daily with landholders, Government representatives, extension officers, research organisations, extension staff and industry stakeholders to Monitor, Evaluate, Report and Improve on the $15 Million Qld Government funded Landholders Driving Change (LDC) project. This Major Integrated Project (MIP) was recommended through the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) Water Science Taskforce to deliver a suite of interventions at a catchment scale. Designed as a grass-roots, landholder driven project, this role I held ensured biophysical, social and economic outcomes and learnings were collected from multiple activity areas and project initiatives that were taking place simultaneously, analysed and reported/communicated back to each stakeholder group in a fit for purpose manner. Working closely with a dedicated communication team, tailored products and messaging were presented regularly to multiple stakeholder groups.
