Bio
Dave Isherwood
Ballah reported to me, as Construction Manager, during the period 1995-98 when we were both part of the wider Hong Kong Airport Authority's project management team, for the construction of the new Hong Kong International Airport. He was assigned the planning aspects of one of the largest MEP contracts in the industry, together with some 20 other airport systems contracts valued at circa HK$7 billion. He skilfully led his multi-cultural team of planning engineers dealing with and managing complex project interfaces. Ballah was recognized for his competence, integrity and leadership. In such a diverse project environment effective communication was vital, an area in which he was commendably distinct. He was an excellent negotiator, with broad commercial expertise and well-honed interpersonal skills. Ballah is, without doubt, the most professional and effective Planning Manager that I have worked with in almost 50 years in the construction industry. David Isherwood - Retired Chairman WMS
Peter Hansford
Ballah Dawelbait worked for the Nichols Group, in London, from 1990 to 1995 and was a key member of the Docklands Light Railway, £300m Beckton Extension project management team that I led. For several years, Ballah was Commercial Manager reporting to me as Project Manager. Ballah was responsible for planning, cost management, change management, risk management and general commercial and land issues, as well as co-ordinating overall project reporting to the Client. On occasions, Ballah deputised for me as Project Manager. I found Ballah to have a high integrity with excellent communication and negotiation skills. I was happy to rely on his judgement.
