Planning, coordinating, supervising all the financial, publishing and IT activities of the company, creating synergy between departments. Strategical and financial planning, finding funding opportunities, responsible for implementing strategies, working together with the publisher, the editor-in-chief and the marketing director, coordinating the work of the IT department and administration. The company’s flagship is the generalist online quality newspaper, Transindex.ro, and the portfolio also includes Think Outside the Box, which together with its Romanian counterpart became one of the most relevant and popular independent online publications, and Penzcsinalok.ro, the only Hungarian economics online media publication in Romania. During my time at the company, the company kept its position as the market leader online Hungarian Newspaper, developing a dynamic, trustworthy brand, while constantly growing in size both as revenues and staff.

Planning, coordinating, supervising the financial and fundraising activities of the association. The work included grant management, obtaining grants and funds for projects, implementing projects. One of the most important achievements of the Association is Adatbank.ro-Referinte.ro bilingual academic portal, which includes 10 dictionaries, the page of 60 academic researcher, nature science databases, 17 statistics sites and registers (census, voting, cultural minority organizations etc.), the archives for more than 20 magazines, 9 thematical map collections, books and thematical digital collections, the Encyclopedia of Hungarians in Romania. The work included identifying new opportunities, managing the operational team, working with different academical partners and academical circles, organizing events, conferences, round-tables, promoting the content, the projects and the events.

PHP programmer and Front-end developer

I started working for Transindex, the biggest Hungarian language online newspaper in Romania, during my last year at university, on Fejvadasz.ro, a job search site, which was also my thesis work. During my work as a programmer at Transindex, I have built numerous websites for Transindex’s own portfolio and other clients. I am skilled in using PHP, MySql, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress, Codeigniter, front-end and back-end coding. This work gave me the opportunity to learn to work with clients, plan and build websites from scratch to finish.
