By serving as CTO for Frshly I oversaw the entire IT strategy , research and development activities and is responsible for Conceptualizing, Planning and launching products which are patented and there by growing the business and making a successful enterprise . Designed and managed the entire infrastructure to support 4000+ Frshly outlets located all across the world . Took responsibility for launching a Flagship fully automated retail product In fact a first-of-its-kind automated retail market place, an ecosystem whereby consumers have access to fresh and hygienic food all under 60 seconds. Identified and implemented new ways to decrease company's dependency on legacy technologies. Built a scalable and sustainable architecture to support the increasing flow of transactions at Frshly' s outlets Headed the engineering team for development of "First in the world" type fresh food dispensers. Engineering development was done completely in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China. Development was done from basic concept sketch stage to prototype to sourcing a manufacturer from China. Worked with Engineering Mangers and Industrial designers in Shenzhen for styling of the dispensers and with automation companies in Guangzhou and Shenzhen for developing the prototype of these machines. Working as COE head, I headed the Data Science, Enterprise Mobility and R&D verticals and was responsible for the creation of new data sciences capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence the improvement of the business’s performance by enabling informed decision making. I was also involved in launching innovative and complex analytic models, utilizing a blend of contemporary and traditional data mining techniques, which is applied to both structured and unstructured data sets. Managed a team of 100 + and has overseen all activities ensuring alignment with departmental and business-wide vision and strategies. Have managed the entire mobile practice and handling the entire Software Development Life Cycle (R&D, Professional Services) including design, development, testing, troubleshooting and debugging of software. Was a key stakeholder in IoT strategy, tool selection, business integration and monetization. Worked closely with product marketing to ensure Savant's technology stack can deliver the IoT product road maps.
