Week 2: Rotating through different anaesthesiology sub-specialties - Paediatric cardiac: Observed an aortic valve repair where a bicuspid valve was repaired to have three cusps. Received teaching on the interpretation of a transesophageal echocardiogram, and honed an understanding of the haemodynamics of flow across a valve or tube with changing radius - Neuro-anaesthesia: Attended operations on spines of patients on a prone frame. Worked with a dataset of over 3,000 satellite images. Improved the multi-class model to a loss of 0.2269 and an accuracy of 0.8610 with 10 epochs.
