  As for myself, I am Sherlymole P. B., working as Associate Professor in Chemistry in Government Model Engineering College, Kochi, Kerala, India, one of the top colleges in Kerala. I have 28 years of teaching experience and currently the Head of the Department of Chemistry.I am able to teach and conduct a lab for any branch of Chemistry up to undergraduate level and for Post-graduation, I can easily handle lectures on Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry portions. I have Guideship for guiding research students, and at present I am guiding M.Sc. Chemistry project students. I am an active participant in various training programs, conferences and other educational activities conducted by our department. I am experienced in the role of chief superintendent of university examinations, chairman of valuation camp, accreditation committee member, question paper setting etc. Again, I am a Member of the Curriculum Committee for the curriculum development and syllabus preparation of B. Tech. for the subjects of Economics, Physics and Chemistry in the University. In addition to that, now I am the Chairman of the Innovation Committee for the NBA Accreditation of our College.The areas of research interest for me are (A) Synthesis and characterization of different types of (i) Polymers, (ii) Functionalized polymers, (iii) Polymer-metal complexes, (iv) Polymer-metal nanoparticle conjugates, (v) Metal-sulphide nanoparticles; (B) Synthesis and Characterization of different types of (i) Dendrimers, (ii) Dendrimer-metal complexes, (iii) Dendrimer-metal nanoparticle conjugates, (C) Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysis in Organic Synthesis; (D) Synthesis and Characterization of Foldamers and their Application in Catalysis, Biosensors, and Drug/ Gene delivery.
