I am delighted to share that after two weeks of interesting & super engaging learning experience, we have completed Circu City Summer School organized by EIT RawMaterials Academy.They had provided us with theoretical as well as practical experience through design challenges and thematic group presentation work which will really help me to excel in the Circular Economy & Sustainability field.During these two weeks,- Firstly, we had thought-provoking lectures and workshops to prepare us for the Water, Energy & Materials challenges.- The guest lectures covered a wide range of topics related to advance urban solutions like water management, circular economy, industrial symbiosis, mobility & sustainable waste management.- Secondly, we were given tasks for design challenges of water, energy & materials in the practica scenario & environmental issues of the Rybitwy area of Krakow, Poland.- Thirdly we were also part of the Industrial Symbiosis thematic group consisting of my team members Ann Lockhart, PMP, MBA, MSc Alondra Garcia Andreza Morais Donya Khoshkhaze Elfriede Jaeger Olatunde Murana Idris Olanrewaju Okeowo Aamash Siddiqui & Gerardo Amaya, worked under the mentorship of MichaΕ Preisner and successfully delivered a lecture on the Industrial Symbiosis.- Finally, we had worked on the final design challenge of redesigning the Rybitwy area of Krakow, Poland covering all the three challenges on Water, Energy, and Raw Materials.Our group ESER City secured the Third position in the final competition of Krakow. I had an opportunity to work with a talented team of Lara Valstar, Gustavo Pacheco Portilla, Patrick ZoΓ© Cito Namulisa & Kingdavid Ozobodo and we tried to provide innovative solutions to tackle the challenges of the district area.
