I have been involved in several research-and-development (R&D) projects at EREC including: 1- Modeling all of the protective devices including current transformers (CTs), voltage transformers (VTs, PTs, and CVTs), and relays (including distance, over-current, under/over voltage, differential, etc.) used in EREC’s network, in DIgSILENT PowerFactory for static and dynamic studies, performance evaluation of the protective devices, and protection-coordination studies for EREC’s network (transmission and sub-transmission); 2- Mid-term and long-term planning for transmission and sub-transmission network of EREC including six transmission substations (400/63kV Jey, 400/63kV AmirKabir, 230/63kV Baharestan, 400/63kV Shahrekord, 400/230kV Kashan, and 230/63kV Kashan) and about 20 sub-transmission substations (63/20kV substations) by DIgSILENT PowerFactory software (feasibility studies, considering various scenarios for each substation, performing several analyses including power-flow analyses, contingency analyses, short-circuit analyses, dynamic analyses, economical analyses, etc., and choosing the best scenario based on technical and economical evaluation criteria); 3- Implementation and modeling of the transmission and sub-transmission network of EREC in DIgSILENT PowerFactory software for the years 2018 and 2022; 4- Comprehensive studies for the perspective of 2022 (identifying the weak points of the Isfahan transmission and sub-transmission networks, planning and providing solutions to solve them) by using various DIgSILENT PowerFactory DPLs).
