• Design In-Charge of Rear Bumpers for upcoming Hyundai Project :- Provided the design requirements and constrains to Styling team for developing and fixing the Parting curves.- Co-ordination between Packaging team and Counterparts team for fixing layout.- Designed bumper by following Company Specifications , Regulations (India & Export) & manufacturing considerations. - Developed and released the BOM, Spec Control Drawings, Part Drawings, Assembly Drawings.- Continuous support during Proto, Pilot & Local Production stage to plant for solving design and assembly issues.- Achieved maximum possible Cost and Weight targets by proper combination of Material and thickness without compromising on quality.- Evaluated the Mold Change, DPA , DFA , Assembly Reports in various stages of project and ensured to release Drawings to meet the project schedule.• Design of Side Garnishes for a new project. This period has been huge learning curve in my career till date, where I got to involve in following mentioned projects majorly from design stage to SOP.Design & development support of INDIAN projects:• Hyundai Venue : Design and development support of all Side Garnishes .• KIA Sonet : Design and development support of all Side Garnishes .• Hyundai Alcazar : Design and development support of FR BPR .• Hyundai I20 (New): Design and development support of Side Sill Molding. & Along with these I got opportunity to involve in Hyundai New Verna (Bumper), Hyundai New I20 (Bumper), Hyundai Aura & Nios (Bumper).Major work scope & responsibilities :- Design skin check, master sections preparation, design & modelling of Pre-analysis concept.- Bill of materials preparation & Design of automotive plastic parts and assembly.- Releasing and managing data in PLM (PTC’s windchill).- Coordinating with counter teams, vendors/mold teams for smooth workflow & optimized product outcome.- Issues solving at different stages of the project starting from Digital Preassembly, Proto, Pilot, Local Plant try-out events, up to start of production.# In 2019, I won BEST PAPER CONTEST - 2019 for "Design of Self Adaptive Energy Absorber for Bumper Satisfying Pedestrian Safety And Low Speed Impact Requirements" Show less
