As an adult student with an established career, I wasn't too excited to take a 100 level leadership class to finish out my degree. However, B'Ann's leadership class quickly went from "I guess I have to", to "I'm glad I'm taking this. B'Ann's class offered me many opportunities to reflect on my leadership style and improve, grow and expand throughout the semester. I would highly recommend B'Ann and this class to young students just starting their degree or to seasoned professionals who want to improve.

To begin, I cannot believe this semester and class is already coming to an end. I can honestly say that this Leadership course is one of my favorite classes that I have taken, and it is one of the only classes that I feel taught me material that I will remember for the rest of my life. Since this class started, I began learning many new tips and skills that I knew would help me in the real world, including; business etiquette, emotional intelligence, delegation, giving feedback, and especially the concept of followership, because I learned that someone is not a leader without having followers. All in all, every lesson and skill I learned is going to help me so much no matter what profession I end up in. I know I will not forget these lessons and skills because I have already implanted so many in my day-to-day life. They have already helped me in my other classes and in football. When this class began, I figured it would be another class that I would just try to get an A in but not actually use the material. I am glad I was wrong, and I am very excited to start working so I can use these lessons and skills. Everything I have learned has also given me confidence because I know all the information I have now will put me one step ahead of my competitors and other coworkers. I truly believe that this is a very important class that everyone should have to take. This class will open people’s eyes and show them that they do not know everything about leadership. I am glad I learned about it now, so I do not go out and make the same mistakes that many young adults make when they first start working.
