  As the Election Commissioner for ASG for the 2023 Election season, I had an exciting experience as a staff member and as a member of ASG. My duties in the role dealt with informing students around campus about various ASG position, providing information about Senator and Executive positions, lead Informational meetings to explain how election process works and how students can become official candidates etc. Through it all, I was able to involve with various other student organizations, be active around campus and take a more closer approach in connecting with student leaders and help students practice leadership by connecting them to resources and other peers who are in position of leadership. It was an experience that taught me a lot, helped me support ESU and understand the important work that ASG does here in Emporia State University. I took creative approach in problem-solving like including an incentive for students to vote, make tabling events more interactive by having candidates' pictures and information and went out of my way to interact with people all around campus and advocate for ASG.
