She’s got a Bachelor in Business, a double major Masters in Commerce, has done the 30 – 60 hour working week and the 3 states in a week corporate trip. Stress, insomnia, bad shoulders and lower back issues were part of a normal day for her until she started a solid yoga practice. There was no turning back since then. Yoga kept her sane and helped her deal with injuries both physical and emotional. In 2012, she completed her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with BodyMindLife and has kept going deeper ever since. In 2013, after the passing of her father, she put her high heels away, participated in the Living Yoga Challenge in BML and left the corporate world for this one. It was then that she committed to a daily meditation practice that still goes on. Az has trained with some of the most amazing international teachers to hit our shores including Simon Park, Chanel Luck, Noelle Connolly, Lorin Roche, Sarah Powers and Janice Clarfield, with more to come. Her own practice now includes a dedication to vinyasa and yin yoga, and daily meditation. Yoga to her is a journey that starts from an unspoken desire and has no ending. She believes in starting from where you are, right here, right now. As K.
