It has one of the largest nationwide optical Metro E network. I am heading the circuit provisioning team who report direct to the COO. My project management team is tasked to deliver the Metro Ethernet (Metro E) circuit as ordered by our customer. I have one assistant manager and 5 field engineers working under my supervision.       Was the Corporate Treasurer of the public listed company. Involved directly in the restructuring of the Group's debt which was vital in the period after the asian financial crisis 1998. During this time, one was adequately trained in all aspects of sophisticated corporate debt capital market such as the Corporate Bonds, REITs, CDS/MTN and etc. Was part of the "breakfast" management group that turn around the Group from trading at 0.37sen to RM2.00 in bursa Malaysia. This turn around was achieved on the back of good debt restructuring, asset allocation and some non-core asset divestment. My achievements during my stint in Landmarks include the following: A. The issuance of RM180.0 million Bond to Datai Resorts Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Landmarks. The Bond is paramount in the whole debt restructuring exercise of the Group. I managed to get the Bond to be fully underwritten and subscribed by MIMB Investment Banks eventhough the corporate bond market was soft at that moment. B. Successfully arranged for a RM75 million new syndicated loan facility for the Andaman Resorts Sdn Bhd, a Landmarks’ subsidiary by group of banks lead by Maybank Berhad. C. Part of a working group for the divestment of Sungei Wang Plaza Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Landmarks. The divestment was at first proposed to be through REITs but later was a successful sale to a direct buyer for a revised value of RM550 million. D. Assist a subsidiary, Landmarks Land and Properties to sell lands and JV with property developers and secure loan facilities for its own property development in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. Show less
