  I'm a Senior Environmental Specialist at the "Horticulture development project" in Uzbekistan financed by the World Bank. The main objective of the project which I work is to increase the productivity and profitability of the horticulture sector, the modernization of the scientific - research capacity in the field of plant breeding, seed production and plant protection, the introduction of International standards of product quality. My responsibilities are helping to improve food security and farmers' incomes through higher agricultural productivity, increase the competitiveness of agriculture, the development of skills of farmers in preserving the land and the expansion of opportunities for participation of small-scale farmers in the agro-industrial enterprises.
