Life saver is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Azahalia. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Azahalia when I needed an English tutor while in community college. Above all, I was impressed with Azahalia’s ability to be straightforward but patient with my learning needs. And, of course, her charming personality and enthusiasm for helping students. She helped me with my personal essays for college applications, and I truly believe I couldn't have gotten into a prestigious university like UC Berkeley without her help.
