Azad was a great mentor to me early in my career. His ability to problem solve and adapt to new and difficult tasks make him a very strong leader. His decisive attitude and ability to communicate effectively make him a valuable asset to any team he works with. Azad is a self-motivated, natural teacher who excels in roles in which he can lead and develop others. I worked under him as an intern for Next Step Ministries in Mississippi in 2012 when we first met. He taught me how to do projects so that I was able to lead volunteer groups in renovation projects for one-week mission trips. I went from having absolutely no knowledge of construction, to leading hundreds of high school students in flooring/finishing projects for 8 weeks with full confidence. I now get to see him continue to excel as he leads the entire Construction Program for the same ministry. It has been awesome to watch his passion for helping communities shine through his organizational skills. On a personal note, Azad is a dedicated husband and father who is deeply committed to both his family and work. He is the first to lend a hand or take initiative when something needs to be done. He seeks to learn more every day and continually challenges himself to be better. He's impressive and inspiring, both personally and professionally.
