While my main job was to propose a policy paper delineating solutions to resolve the problems faced by the enterprises under the CAVF scope, I also actively participated with the urbanization cell to learn about the… Show more The two month internship at the Communauté d'Agglomération du Val de Fensch thought me more than I had expected. Being an important economic center located at the French and Luxembourg border, the revenue of the firms here was crucial to the economic development of the region. While my main job was to propose a policy paper delineating solutions to resolve the problems faced by the enterprises under the CAVF scope, I also actively participated with the urbanization cell to learn about the various activity zones as well as the commercial zones and the initiatives taken to improve the standard of life of people residing in those areas. Nonetheless, I helped a fellow Intern to put up an interactive event for the elderly called "Forum Senior" which took place the second day that I joined the organization. The forum was such a success, that it was aired on France 4 the following day; wherein I was seen participating in Tai Chi promotion. Moreover, after having designed the policy report before time, I helped another colleague to compile a gender equality report for the organization. Show less
