Global Girl Experience Manager
-
Sep 2019 - Jun 2021
As part of this role, I facilitated context-sensitive learning and development opportunities for staff and volunteers. I identified promising practice, innovative models and high-quality pedagogical resources from Girl Guide and Girl Scout Associations across five global regions. On a day-to-day basis, I provided consultancy services and delivered capacity-building projects to improve strategy and strengthen the programme of youth organisations working with girls and young women in over 150 countries. The most enjoyable part of my role was researching and developing new concepts and thought pieces related to non-formal education, leadership practice, girl experience, social impact and volunteerism.

Innovation and Leadership Development Coordinator
-
Jan 2018 - Sep 2019
In this role, I managed a redesign of the flagship youth leadership development event – the Juliette Low Seminar – delivered in 18 global locations. As part of this project I oversaw a budget of £600,000 and coordinated the grant giving and donor reporting. I was also responsible for the recruitment and training of staff and volunteers involved in the programme delivery. My proudest moment was coordinating the launch of a new volunteer management system and overseeing the expansion of this system which achieved 300% volunteer growth.
