My journey into entrepreneurship began with Sew Unique by Adunni, a dressmaking outfit I started in 2016. As the chief operating officer, I ensured that my business was able to break even and become profitable within the first 17 months of existence. Built the vision, mission and shared values for Sew Unique by Adunni as an organisation. In the last 2 years, our profit increased by 45% despite the pandemic. Planned, organized and delegated task to all team members. Over the 4.5 years, I was able to lead and grow from a one staff company to a small team of about 8 staff. I started and currently run a YouTube channel where I teach people how to sew. In less than 18months, I gained 33,000 organic subscribers. As an entrepreneur, I was actively involved in the advertising and marketing of all products. I also handled stocks and inventory. I oversaw the entire business operations and strategy.

During my time as Agronet, we were researching and consulting on crop production using controlled environments. Crops were all grown in green houses and the media used was a calculated mix of coco peat and perlite (instead of soil). We found that this helped to boost plant productivity by almost 35% with an obvious increment in fruit size. As a senior agronomist, I monitored planting calendars and corresponding output. I supervised and motivate workers to hit their daily assigned tasks and targets I planned and organised efficient planting schedules based on the organisations goals to help maximize profit and meet client demands. I ensured plants were in good health and provided diagnoses on unhealthy plants.
