Graduate Student Consultant
-
Sep 2021 - May 2022
Working in a team of four Graduate Student Consultants as part of my MPA at the Evans Schools of Public Policy we worked for a non-profit located in Central America, serving Spanish-Speaking Central American Youth aged 10-24 years old. We were tasked with exploring risk and protective factors related to negative outcomes in adolescent mental health, sexual health, and violence. Our team also provided the non-profit expertise on building Equitable and Culturally Appreciative programs such that the organization may provide services that are centered around the needs and goals of the participating youth. Our project was awarded the International Development Research Prize by the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance. Show less

I worked alongside Professor Belknap's team and the Attorney General's Office to put data gathered on domestic violence fatalities into a codebook and enter data into an SPSS file. These results were then published in the Colorado Domestic Violence Fatality Review Boards' 1st Annual Report.
