Develops novel assays and SOPs for a variety of clinical biomarkers for the prompt medical diagnosis of infectious diseases using R&D molecular techniques e.g., Real time/quantitative PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, bacterial transformation, NGS, ELISA etc. 2. Works closely with the R&D team members to deliver the day-to-day development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and validation of routine medical diagnostic tests. 3. Collaborates with other Biotechnology researchers, scientists, marketing, and regulatory affairs staff to deliver new medical diagnostic tests to the market. 4. Writes, edits, and proofreads guidance documents on the guidelines for the treatment of diseases based on medical diagnostic test results to assist doctors or clinicians in prompt diagnosis and disease management. 5. Writes, edits, and proofreads medical and scientific documents on chronic and infectious diseases to enhance the accurate choice of relevant diagnostic tests by doctors and clinicians. 6. Routinely liaise with doctors and clinicians to deliver medical diagnostic information and materials that would assist in the interpretation of diagnostic test results to ensure patients care and wellness. Key responsibilities 1. Developed novel candidates to serve as novel natural therapeutic/functional food against chronic diseases using in vitro and in vivo models. Three (3) prototype products were formulated. 2. Managed the laboratory ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and scientific analyses. 3. Conducted biochemistry and molecular methods (HPLC, GC- FID, GCMS, spectrophotometry, etc.) on biological and drug samples in compliance with international standards. Routinely offered more than 10 clinical chemistry assays to researchers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical industries. 4. Developed new assays and SOPs for a variety of R&D biomarkers for routine use. Five (5) new bioassays were developed. 5. Planned, designed, implemented laboratory experiments and wrote reports for researchers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical industries. 6. Analyzed and interpreted experimental data and wrote manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed, international journals. Twelve (12) articles were published. 7.
