  As a process operator, I oversee and manage the full production process of the industrial facility. Monitor equipment to ensure the quality, efficiency and safety of the plant. I am also responsible for the safe operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of the facility’s equipment and instruments. My role as a Process Operator is to also conduct continuous inspections of all key process points in the facility, to identify anything abnormal. If an issue is identified, requests are made in order to make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments and implement the proper response, including notifying supervisors. My activities are but not limited to:  Operation of oil, gas and water production systems, including opening/closing wells, adjustments of wells, adjusting chemical injection rates etc.  Carry out maintenance and repair work, shutdowns, isolation and planned maintenance ensuring the use of tools and equipment, which are in good working order and are correct for the job.  Perform gas tests and isolation as per permit to work and safe entry permits specific to process systems.  Maintain an accurate and timely log of plant and equipment data and closely follow their performance.  Prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per Work Permit procedure.  React to plant process/safety emergencies promptly.  Use chemicals and other consumables in an optimized manner to ensure cost-saving.  Carry out field functional tests of standby and safety/protective devices as per schedule.  Check and ensures that an adequate level of stock of supplies and spares are always maintained for the smooth operations of the process plant and well Head Platform
