As part of this Team, which was also the only iGEM Team from Pakistan, I was responsible for lab work as well as designing the Project poster and presentation and collaborating with other teams around the world. We performed a researched during the summer to create a prototype for a geentically engineered fish which can detect heavy metals in water and give out signals. This research was presented at the IGEM giant jamboree at Boston adn I was one of the four people to present the project in front of the judges. We were awarded Silver medal for this project.
