Ayesha and I worked together at the Davis Political Review for a little over two years. I held a position on the editorial board under her leadership and was continually impressed by her determination and work ethic. What stands out to me the most, however, is the compassion that extends into everything Ayesha does. I don't think I've ever met a student leader as patient, empathetic, and thoughtful as she is. She's a wonderful listener and makes people feel cared for. Also, as a student-run publication, DPR has a lot of small moving parts and can be stressful to manage. Ayesha handled difficult situations with grace and professionalism. I miss having her here but am excited to see her do incredible things in the real world.
