I had the great pleasure of working with Ayesha on the Leadership Fort Worth LeaderKids Dolores Huerta Playground Improvements Project. I found Ayesha’s pragmatism to be a source of inspiration. She pulled together a large team of community participants, including 40 middle school students, district officials, construction and design professionals and business leaders. She managed the project efficiently by keeping everyone focused on the goal and engaged throughout every step of the project. It was evident that she truly believed in the potential of the children. Ayesha found innovative and creative solutions to all the challenges of the project. She is a collaborative leader that doesn’t back down from challenges. When others may have given up, she simply pulled everyone together to overcome and persevere.
