Service Pharmaceutical Company (S.P.C) is involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical dosage forms (Oral liquids – syrups, and suspensions) and External Preparations. There are FIVE major sections in Service Pharmaceutical Company namely: External Production Section, Internal Production Section, Quality Assurance Section (Chemical Laboratory and Miro-biology Laboratory), Store Section, and Water Treatment. As an integral team member, I actively participated in drug production processes, ensuring that our products met stringent industry standards. My expertise extended beyond production to water treatment and equipment maintenance, where I diligently inspected and lubricated facility equipment to sustain optimal performance. A key part of my contribution was in conducting thorough drug, water, raw material, and packaging analyses in adherence to pharmacopeia regulations. My commitment to excellence also translated into effective inventory management, ensuring the timely procurement and supervision of chemicals. Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Limited (IEPL), located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, a Group Company of Indorama Corporation, is a Poly-Olefins producer of a range of Polyethylene and Polypropylene products. During my enriching internship at IEPL, I played a pivotal role as a vital part of a team in the operation of the Polypropylene plant. I assisted in meticulously controlling process variables to achieve an impressive purity level of over 99.99% in the production of Polypropylene. Conducting routine equipment checks, ensuring proper lubrication, and accurately recording chemical and equipment logs were some of my key responsibilities. I actively participated in startup and shutdown operations, provided pellet samples to the Lab for analysis, and demonstrated my commitment to safety by supervising work crews and participating in HSE meetings. This internship allowed me to contribute to the production process while prioritizing safety and adhering to rigorous quality standards. Show less
