He is full of knowledge on both CS fundamentals and cutting-edge developments, and also a great mentor; working with Aycan has had one of the biggest impacts on my software development career. He cares about and actively encourages the personal growth of his team members and himself, and is very supportive in every case. We had to make many technical decisions while working together and I now notice that one of the identifying abilities of Aycan is being able to suggest unconventional solutions that end up working out much better than the alternatives in the end. I believe this was the reason we were able to develop and continuously improve a sophisticated software product with our then small team; which successfully served the needs of our of customers and played a huge part on making Picus Security the almost hundred-person business it currently is (as of January 2020). Besides his technical abilities; he is a good person and a friend.
