My experience in working with Axel was on a massive cost reduction project. Axel lead a key area of our cost reduction project. He was tenacious for savings, always on top of his numbers and pushed his team to think out of the box. One of the brightest Engineers I have ever worked with.

Joe Farrier

Axel is one of the brightest systems engineers I have met. Axel is always making well-informed and well-researched decisions; and carefully considers the ramifications of his decisions from a detailed engineering level to company, customer levels and beyond. He makes his decisions with a strong sense of ethics and is respected as a thought leader within the organization. Furthermore, Axel frequently demonstrates high competence in functions beyond just engineering; finance, supply chain management, program management, manufacturing and operations to name a few. All this and his innate ability as a leader of people make him a true leader in the world of complex engineered products. I have been fortunate to work with him while at Fisker Automotive.
