  Name of the research project: “El diagnóstico traductor de la comprensibilidad en los folletos de salud y una propuesta concreta de tratamiento: Manual de Buenas Prácticas de Redacción para la Comunicación en Salud” (The translator's diagnosis of comprehensibility in health brochures and a concrete proposal for treatment: Manual of Good Writing Practices for Health Communication.) The research team is led by the professional translators and university professors Ileana Luque and Marcela Serra.In June, 2021, I was invited by professor Ileana Luque to participate in two classes of the course Scientific Translation at the School of Languages from the National University of Córdoba, in which I, together with fellow researcher, corrected an activity about the application of plain language recommendations to the translation and revision of health brochures. We edited some sentences in Spanish, discussed what we corrected and why, and proposed plain language recommendations that can be applied to health brochures in particular, but also to medical texts for patients in general.
