I've had the pleasure of stepping back a bit here while giving insight when asked. It's given me the ability to comfortably educate myself while still having a well-paying and fun job to take breaks from studying. I've continued to showcase servant leadership while executing service with utmost care and hospitality. Unknown Caller has reminded me that it's paramount to have fun while you work. I read through the manual to teach myself and then the establishment how to use Micros—leaving behind several personally curated how-to guides for future staff on maintaining the point-of-sale system. I created several spreadsheets to expedite multiple processes, including scheduling, tip-pooling shares, costing, labor analysis, and more. Which allowed me to focus on essential tasks reducing nearly 10hrs of weekly work to roughly 1hour per week. The team I was a part of always sought to keep morale high; hospitality was a breeze with happiness in our utility belt. We also used all skills available to us through each individual, collaborating on every aspect of the operation to improve service and quality of life within the workspace.I handled staff training, continued education, coaching, and scheduling. I created multiple documents, manuals, and learning exercises to improve the quality of performance.I have extensive hands-on knowledge assisting customers through positive and negative experiences. Coupled with understanding the importance of open and informative communication skills, I can communicate and collaborate with team members thoroughly and thoughtfully, ensuring success.I aided with many events and menus featuring a mixture of food and beverage, from conception and costing to execution and follow-up.

I trained in the art of serving through hospitality and servant leadership, and I worked in nearly every position from door person to low-level management and floor supervisor. Here, I learned the ins and outs of hospitality through very knowledgeable and supportive staff, both low and high level, which continues to shed light on how to communicate and treat those around me to this day.I created multiple spreadsheets for inventory and costs, among many others, to help make educated business decisions for the health of the company's budget and overall bottom-line.I thoroughly maintained and educated staff members on our Aloha Point-of-Sale system and maintained inventory and cost analysis weekly through self-education.I curated the beer program for four years and aided other industry leaders with bringing in new brands, changing two state laws regarding beer purchasing and handling. This portion of my career included creating and executing events and dinner pairings.I acted as a low-Level handyman through my previous carpentry and general construction years.

I was able to showcase my general construction knowledge and aid in problem-solving with local customers in various home repair categories. I further showcased my expertise in helping maintain and repair rental and purchased Sthil equipment. I learned how to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery and was certified to refill propane. I even started to get pretty good at gift wrapping. I was able to showcase my general construction knowledge and aid in problem-solving with local customers in various home repair categories. I worked low level into supervision. Helping frame houses from low-income residential to million-dollar homes and eventually built a veterinary clinic for pets with cancer. Here I was taught the value of hard work and excellence—the rule to measure twice and cut once. My father molded me into a machine of precision with customer service at the epicenter of the experience. Ensuring the homeowner was always satisfied with the services provided.I learned the ins and outs of all aspects of construction, from breaking ground and pouring the foundation, building frames, roofs, following blueprints to install electrical, plumbing, and everything in between, to the finishing touches of cabinetry.
