Sep 2010 - Apr 2014
FOX-TEK manufactures, installs and operates a network of patented, non-intrusive measurement systems for on-line monitoring of critical infrastructure like bridges, overpasses and oil & gas pipelines. As Engineering Lead at FOX-TEK, I led a small team of domain experts in supporting all aspects of design, manufacturing and implementation of two product lines of electronic sensing and measurement instrumentation along with the associated on-line software services. I reported to the Vice-President, Operations. My responsibilities included:* Design reviews for new generation hardware and software* Prototype testing and evaluation* Code reviews and hands on software development (embedded and desktop)* Performance and reliability evaluation of existing products* Engineering support for sales activitiesI was also the key hands-on developer for the in-house data analysis and visualization software platform.Skills: Project Management, Research and Development, Data Analysis, Embedded Development, .NET, ASP.NET, Fiber Optics

Software Engineer
-
Mar 2006 - Aug 2008
As a Software Engineer at FOX-TEK, I was hired to improve the in-house data analysis software package, which at the time was based on LabView. In the span of two years, I developed a complete software package for interactive and batch analysis of data from FOX-TEK's fiber-optic strain and deformation sensors. The software package made possible improved techniques for analysis of Electrical Field Mapping measurements. At the same time, I helped maintain and extend embedded code for 8- and 16-bit microcontrollers (C8051 family). Worked as part of a team of 10 engineers developing remote monitoring solutions for harsh environments.Technologies used: Real-Time Programming, C, C#, .NET, WinForms, Data Analysis
