I collaborated with Avinash who was on the SRE team while I was managing multiple development teams. The best thing about Avinash is his attitude. He is a positive person, a good team player who collaborates with multiple members of a team to get a task completed from start to finish; it could be new feature implementation or production support. Personally I have interacted closely with him while working on a Trino (distributed data search) project where there were multiple unknowns. He was patient, understood the approach the development team was taking, designed the horizontal scaling approach and made adjustments based on the goals/timelines of the team. He is also very diligent with follow ups on production support issues and documents post-mortems well and makes sure the long-term solution is implemented. Avinash has the technical skills and the attitude to excel in any team. I whole-heartedly recommend him for any future opportunities.

I worked with Avinash for more than a year, and I have always known him to be always willing to learn and improve. He is a hard-working SRE who always followed incidents to their conclusion, making sure issues didn't recur, like a true SRE. In true SRE practice, he did amazing work on making the platform more observable and on optimizing the costs of the platform, resulting in large cost-savings for the company One example of his dedication to work was: he set up horizontal autoscaler for many of our services running on k8s. He took up this work despite not being familiar with the services he was.supposed to help auto-scale. He worked with different teams, spent significant time testing and re-testing, and rolled out these changes to all environments without any issues. This helped solve a major headache related to bursty traffic, which occassionally resulted in people getting paged in the middle of the night,
