Avid joined the New York Equity Swaps support team at a time of transition when we needed a calm head and solid technical knowledge to stabilise the team. He very quickly established himself as highly capable application support professional, over and above apparently more senior team mates. After I moved on from Equity Swaps, I was sad to hear that Avid had left Morgan Stanley as I believe he had the potential to to go far with the firm.
