I was a packager for 12 hour days. Rotating weeks, looking for a similar gig. My position is in limbo because the forklift guy went nuts and I was through a staffing agency so now they won’t contact me directly. Worked my way up from dish to line, learned most all positions, even making my own backup items and others when we ran out. Worked 2 line positions on the weekend nights, was known as DishGod and didn’t get tipshare or unemployment when I left over my pay. Got hired back cause I was a “lifesaver” but I couldn’t be satisfied with the company. I liked my bosses and coworkers but Bad weeks for servers was still double my paycheck and I simply couldn’t afford to work there or excel in that industry.
