  Following the completion of my Bachelor of Journalism at Bond University in 2012, I have penned for publications across the globe and managed social media for a bevy of businesses across hospitality, beverage and property industries. Writing is my expertise; working as a freelance content creator, I am accustomed to managing many accounts, priorities, projects, budgets and deadlines at once. I am just as equipped to file compact stories under pressure as I am writing elaborate feature articles, web content and colourful, tight captions. During this period, some of my favourite assignments were working in the beverage industry to deliver label copy for the Sparkke Change Beverage Company and Three Little Birds Distillery, as well as writing features and copy for Glam Adelaide, Rundle Mall Management Authority, Communikate et al, On: Creative, Waldorf Astoria Chengdu and Wine Tourist Magazine. I bring over a decade of experience to creating engaging copy and content across websites, social media, articles, labels, pitches and more. Having previously worked across accounts from developers to gin distilleries, my words connect businesses with their target audience and generate ideas for content to keep them enthralled with all they have to offer.

  As part of a small group of founders, I researched and developed a concept for an executive co-working space in Adelaide's CBD which saw the renovation of a 100-year-old Grote Street architectural icon turned into a 15-suite office building. I led brand development and managed marketing and advertising from beginning to establishment, managed social media, SEO, web development, internal and external communications. Operationally, I managed the office, administration, budgets, rental inspections and negotiations, and internal and external hire across the boardroom and large-scale balcony events. I was able to get the building to rental capacity in under 18 months of operations and built a reputable brand that captured the executive co-working market. However, all founders know when it's time to move to the next project. Having achieved some incredible milestones, it was time to exit the business in February 2022.

• Fashion at the Races Writer

  I had the pleasure of writing for Fashion at the Races from 2018-2020, producing good news pieces such as promoting South Australian carnivals, creating content in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders, and interviewing fashion, beauty and racewear heavyweights to entice new audiences to the FATR website via social media. During this period, I also had the privilege of judging the competition for the Adelaide Cup in 2020, as well as the season finale for 2018-2019. Some of my favourite pieces from this role include Royal Ascot: Inside the royal enclosure with Phoebe Phillips, Competitive Edge: Behind the sash with Australia’s homegrown racewear winners and In Sync: Power couple Olivia Rogers and Justin McKeone champion his and hers racewear.



Label Magazine Australia

  As Assistant Editor of Label Magazine, I researched and developed food, fashion, beauty and lifestyle content for the Gold Coast's premier lifestyle publication. My role involved liaising with stakeholders, advertisers, retailers and PR agencies to create content and unveil great stories across local heroes, celebrities (Elle Macpherson was a highlight!) and incredible brands such as Paolo Sebastian, Misha Collection and Bianca Spender. I also created advertorials, content for seasonal dining including my own recipes food photography, social media and assisted at our renowned Label Lunches.



Wine tourist magazine
