Working alongside Autumn at Microverse has truly been a defining experience for me. As someone who highly values leadership that is effective and compassionate, I can confidently say that Autumn is the best leader I've ever had. Their guidance has not only elevated my professional growth but has also made a profound impact on me personally. Autumn's leadership style, marked by a clear vision and sincere attentiveness, has set a remarkable example. With every meticulously crafted Figma presentation for our brainstorming sessions, Autumn sparks our creativity and fosters an atmosphere of collaboration. Their skill as an active listener creates a safe space where every team member's voice is valued and heard. Whether it's discussing a new project's intricacies or addressing personal concerns, Autumn is always available to talk. Their support and approachability make us feel not just like colleagues but like a tight-knit community where we can share anything. One thing that sets Autumn apart is their incredible advocacy for the team. They somehow manage to strike that perfect balance between what's best for the company and what's best for us as individuals. And let me tell you, when things seem chaotic, their ability to bring structure and clarity is a lifesaver. Projects that initially feel overwhelming (to me, anyway) turn manageable with their guidance. Whenever we are swamped with work, Autumn jumps in to help us grade assignments, which is a huge relief. Plus, their knack for making things go smoothly during all the changes happening amidst the dynamic nature of startup life really shows how great of a leader they are. I can't help but mention their thoughtfulness. Those personalized magnetic awards in Paris, designed to highlight each team member's strengths, showcased their commitment to our growth. But it's not just the big things; it's the everyday interactions that truly resonate, where they ensure we all feel like a vital part of the bigger picture. Autumn stands out not only for their exceptional leadership skills but also for their constant pursuit of growth and improvement. They never settle and are always eager to learn; they set a powerful example that motivates the rest of us to step out of our comfort zones and embrace new challenges. Their dedication to their own development and their willingness to push us to achieve our best inspire me daily to strive for personal and professional growth. To me, Autumn's leadership goes beyond only work-related growth; it's about their genuine care and support that have made a world of difference. They have created an environment where I feel seen, valued, and empowered. They make us all feel that our contributions matter, that our work is purposeful, and that we can accomplish great things. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunities to learn and evolve under Autumn's guidance, and I truly hope our paths cross again in the future.

Autumn stepped upto the challenge to become Head of Career Services at Microverse at the time I joined the company. Managing Autumn has been a pleasure and their commitment to their team and service users has been a delight to watch. Autumn sees the bigger picture and understands how all of the pieces come together before most people do. With this, they’re able to design specific learning interventions and also communicate clear, contextualised and achievable goals for their team to meet the aims of these interventions. Autumn has led the largest individual team in the businesses and within my function and always receives excellent feedback from direct and non-direct reports for their ability to bring them on the journey, advocates for them and provide specific feedback that helps them grow in their careers. Autumn knows how to utilise the strengths of their team to achieve things that are of a high quality. Autumn has achieved a lot in this role. Most notably, they designed and implemented a scaled service offering that allowed their team to support more users without hiring or requiring further resources. When designing this service, Autumn was inclusive in the consultation process and did a fantastic job of gathering inputs, requirements and objections from wider business stakeholders before translating those into actionable, achievable milestones to deliver what was required at speed. This saved projected costs but also led to improved satisfaction, engagement and outcome scores for service users. Autumn is extremely adaptable and can get onboard with changes in strategy, translating those into tactical steps for their team and their department. An area where Autumn has grown significantly in this role is in data analysis and dashboarding. They’re able to take a data-driven approach to building services that users want and need and can tell stories with data that make an impact. It has been a pleasure working with Autumn and I’d welcome the opportunity again in the future. I’m happy to act as a personal reference for Autumn at any point in the future.
